BOARDWay Bound Board Bank Program Information |
The BOARDway Bound Board Bank is a leadership engagement program of ArtsWave that matches GREAT leaders with GREAT organizations in our arts and cultural communities.
About the Candidates
The available pool of candidates will have graduated from a board leadership program offered in the community. Candidates will complete an online application and upload their Profile and photo.
About the Organizations
Organizations will have completed an orientation on board governance and will have received notification that they are qualified to participate.
How the Program Works
- Candidates complete an online application which includes interests and a profile about themselves. Information will be reviewed and qualified candidates will be posted on the website by ArtsWave Staff.
- Approved Organizations will be able to log on and see all information of interested and available candidates except contact information.
- Upon finding a candidate who the organization believes meets its needs, the group fills out an online request for ArtsWave Staff to initiate contact with the candidate.
- Interest in the organization on the part of the candidate will be confirmed and a mutually agreed upon meeting time will be arranged by email.
- First meetings take place at the organization’s main office if possible to give the candidate a most informative setting.
